NEW LIFE AFTER EARTHQUAKE

I don't want to remember one of the black days in the history of Nepal. It was 2072-01-12 BS (April 25, 2015 Saturday), just getting 12 noon. I and faculties of Kantipur College of Medical Science (KCMS) are working in the college for exam preparation. Suddenly we felt hits of the earthquakes and we couldn't run down from upstairs and stayed at office taking support on the door. As soon as the hitting of quake lowered we got down of the college and went to free space. After that, 38 aftershocks were followed by the major quake. We wait for being normal till 5 pm. When I saw nearby our college, I felt that I got new life. Most to buildings near to college were collapsed and completely damaged. Until and unless I moved to my home I was worried about the situation of my families as I couldn't contact them immediately after quake because of network disturbance.

Around 6 pm I reached my house and took a long breathe when I saw my family members. All are safe and my house too. I thanked god for new life and started to make tent to stay outside the home in the open space. We kept on staying in the tent for about 9 days and then moved to the house with full of fear of aftershocks. Even none of us feel better, another earthquake hit on 2072-01-29 at around 2 PM. Again the living style dragged into the tent for 8 more days. Anyway, we survive in this calamity and pray god for peace to soul of all victims and may god give good strength to their families to struggle more. I wish for no more disaster and pain to Nepali people.

I heartily thank to all who have directly and indirectly help in this natural disaster to soothe the people's pain.
